Charity, screen writing, books, and moving…

I’ve been busy. So very busy.

1) The charity event was hard on my mind, and the build up to the event with all the fundraising and giveaways to go on top of it. All in all, we raised nearly £500, so I’m very pleased with how it all went!

The day went smoothly, but took it hard out of me. Trust me when I say, walking 20 miles while kicking a ball… isn’t easy! And now my footage for the YouTube video isn’t importing to my editing software, so that’s weighing on my mind.

2) I have a chance for a small snippet of ‘No Point In Begging’ to be made into a small feature. There’s a few technicalities that’s getting in my way, which includes handing over character rights to those who would produce. Another headache, but it’s a big chance for me to get some notoriety.

3) Rogue Causality. I’ve reread it. The story is on point, but my writing is not. You could tell I was forcing myself to get it out. As much as I love the plot and the story, it’s a very crusty version of my style. On the bright side, at least I have content to work with a reorganise.

4) Moving. Yes, I’ve moved out my parents, and live alone with the mini family. This comes with a new job too.

Complete scene change, and pace too. I’m in a beautiful and peaceful part of the world. With everything else that I’ve mentioned above… yeah, it’s been a hell of a lot to adapt to.

So this is where I am, and everything is hitting hard and fast. Normally having your head down is a bad thing, but it’s me cracking on and getting it all done.

There’s a lot of first anniversaries coming up that’ll try to derail me, and I’m ready for them.

The memories are meant to be replaced, and I’d rather be on my own than where I was before.

My best hasn’t even started yet.

I’ll leave you with this quote:

‘What’s the point in replacing and idiot with a retard’ - The Critical Drinker

Whoever you are. Wherever you are.

Thank you for reading.

Daniel ❤️
