Writing In The Studio.

Do I always write the titles for these with caps? Hmmm… can’t remember. Anyway.

First and foremost, I hope the start of the year has been amazing for you all. There’s been a lot of rewiring for me, but it’s all in the name of good. From now on, I’ll start these blogs with writing based stuff, and then I’ll finish with what’s been happening in my personal life.

Writing:

I’ve slowly ventured in to writing in my office space. I found it was too comfortable on the sofa, and I wasn’t achieving as much as I wanted. It’s taken a lot of adjustment, but it’ll be beneficial in the long run. It’s quite creepy writing late at night, when the rest of the flat is dark and quiet 😂.

As for Book 4 itself, it’s tonality is coming out. It has much more of a secluded atmosphere and somewhat horror feel to it, much like The Taste Beneath had. I’ve been loving bringing it back to life, and building on what I started with last year. I’m aiming to have it resent out to my beta readers by the end of the month.

Daniel Life:

I’ve finally started sleeping in bed. I know that might come as a shock that I haven’t. I’ve kept it quiet. It became my survival to sleep near my girls and in front of the TV, and I just had to see the rest of the year out alive. That was what was important to me.

As a result of this, my morning routine has suffered, because my bed is just so fucking comfortable 😂, but it’ll get back. Skyler has adjusted to me spending less time in the lounge, and will join me in both the office and bedroom most of the time.

Billie is still alive, and has adjusted too. She is allowed out, and has the office to run around in when we do so.

It’s all coming together.

With the changes I’ve made to getting my author head back, I was considering deleting the blogs from last year, but that would be an injustice to me. They’re going to be a clear indicator of my survival last year.

Mum is the mend, with only a few treatments left now.

As for Well-Being Roulette, that’s staying up. I might have a couple of songs more to add, bringing the track total to around 20. Other than that, I think it’s complete.

It was necessary, and I enjoyed it!

Well, can’t stay up too long. It’s nearly 1:30, and I’m in my bed!

Busy time coming up for Valentines, which Kieran let me write the menu for!

Stay safe, busy, and look after yourself.

Much love.

Me.
